Delete just your palate — keep your account

Your palate is the most sensitive thing we hold, so it can be deleted on its own: Profile → ⚙ Settings → Palate → Clear my palate. It is erased from your profile and from our servers, and the palate stamp comes off every review you have already posted. Your account, reviews and saved places all keep working.

Delete saved places — keep your account

Profile → To-Try → swipe a saved spot and choose Remove. It is deleted from your list on our servers straight away.

Delete your whole account (in the app)

Profile → ⚙ Settings → Delete account, then confirm. Deletion runs immediately: your sign-in is removed, so you are signed out and cannot log back in.

If you can’t open the app

Email legal@authenticeats.app from the address you signed up with, saying what you want removed — your palate, specific content, or the whole account. We use that address only to find your account and carry out the request, and we act within 30 days.

What a full account deletion removes

Your sign-in credentials, profile, username, palate, To-Try list and credibility are permanently deleted. Any device push token is removed. None of it is recoverable.

What remains, and why

Reviews you wrote stay as ANONYMOUS scores — your name and your palate stamp are stripped from them, so nothing links them to you. Pins you added stay on the map without your name. We keep these because other people’s ratings are averaged with yours, and removing them outright would silently change the numbers everyone else sees. They can no longer be traced back to you.

Timing

Account and profile data are deleted immediately. Backups and diagnostic logs roll off within 30 days.
